Mayor Cary StallerThe Village of Old Field, incorporated in 1927, is home to approximately 975 residents.  The Village, approximately 2.2 square miles in size, is bounded on the east by Conscience Bay, on the north by Long Island Sound, on the west by Smithtown Bay and on the south by West Meadow Road.

The Village is governed by a Mayor and four Trustees, all of whom are residents.   We cordially invite all residents to actively participate in all aspects of Village governance and life.

Old Field has its own Village Justice, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, and Code Enforcement Office.  The Village Clerk and Treasurer work at the historic Village Lighthouse (631-941-9412) and are available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. to serve the needs of the Old Field community.  The Village Code Enforcement Office (631-941-9410), which operates twenty four hours per day and provides patrol and emergency response services, is located in the Keeper’s House situated next to the Lighthouse.   In case of any emergency, residents should first  call 911 or the Setauket Fire District (631-941-4441).

On behalf of the Trustees, Village Hall staff and everyone else working for the Village, I would like to emphasize that we are honored to serve you.

Thank you for your interest in the Village of Old Field.

Sincerely,

Cary F. Staller, Mayor
